Mix Bar Tiger Fish 3″

The Mix Bar Tiger Fish—highly known in the monster-fish hobby as the Mixed Bar Indo Datnoid (Datnioides microlepis)—is a popular color variation of the Indonesian Tigerfish. Unlike pristine “symmetrical” specimens that command a massive price premium, a “Mix Bar” has asymmetrical or irregular black markings. For instance, it may exhibit a 3-bar pattern on one side of its body and a 4-bar pattern on the opposite side, or feature unique, split, and broken bars.
