Papua New Guinea Tiger Fish

The Papua New Guinea Tiger Fish (Datnioides campbelli), universally known in the monster-fish hobby as the New Guinea Tiger (NGT) or New Guinea Datnoid, is an ultra-premium predatory fish endemic to the coastal rivers, swamps, and brackish estuaries of southern New Guinea. The NGT stands out among all tiger perch variants due to its unique golden base coloration and less uniform, highly distressed black bars.
